BRINGING THE ATMOSPHERE TO LIFE

It is not difficult to fill an empty hall with technical equipment, it has nothing to do with scenery construction. The real challenge lies in creating an atmosphere. An ambience that creates a lot of “aahs” and “oohs” on the part of the guests. For us, this aspect is a natural part of the process, as our services encompass a holistic approach to an event. For example, we incorporate the existing architecture of the location — such as a time-honored museum or a former factory — into the room concept or cover and hang architectural elements. For us, this is the true art of set construction: making technology and equipment “disappear”, so to speak, or cleverly integrating them. Without any magic, just know-how. To give the room an individual touch, we also like to play with the sizes and dimensions of the structural conditions with the help of materials and systems within set construction. Whereas in the past we mostly used covered wood for this, today we mainly rely on reusable system constructions. Our quality standards for the project are so high that they can withstand the critical eye of a high-resolution camera with a relentlessly long telephoto lens.

We often use the Aluvision system, which has become an integral part of set construction.

By using reusable system constructions, we create sustainable and visually appealing backdrops that can withstand even high-resolution cameras. Our work is characterized by precision and high quality standards to make your event in Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg unforgettable.

Set construction is more than building walls, stages or backdrops. It is about creating spaces that work, feel right and hold up under real event conditions. In Berlin, where productions range from corporate conferences to film shoots, brand experiences and trade fairs, expectations are high. Sets need to look convincing, be safe, and function smoothly from the first rehearsal to the final minute of the event.

Our team approaches set construction with a strong practical mindset. We plan every detail with the actual use in mind. Load capacities, sightlines, cable routing, accessibility and fire safety are not afterthoughts. They are part of the concept from the beginning. This avoids last-minute compromises on site and keeps productions running on schedule.

What clients value most is reliability. Deadlines in set construction are not flexible, and we treat them accordingly. Our workshop preparation allows for clean prefabrication, fast assembly and precise fitting on location. Especially in Berlin venues with tight load-in times or limited access, this experience makes a noticeable difference.

We work closely with agencies, production companies and end clients. Clear communication and realistic planning are key. If something is not feasible within a given timeframe or budget, we address it early and offer workable alternatives. This honesty saves time, money and nerves on all sides.

Sustainability also plays a growing role in modern set construction. Wherever possible, we rely on modular systems, reusable materials and durable constructions instead of one-off builds. This not only reduces waste but also increases flexibility for future projects.

Whether you need a functional stage design, a branded exhibition stand or a custom-built set for a live production, our set construction services in Berlin are designed to deliver dependable results. No overengineering, no shortcuts, just solid craftsmanship and solutions that work in real-world conditions.

If you are planning a production in Berlin and need a partner who understands both design and execution, we are ready to support your project from concept to dismantling.
